Daniel H. Grimm
President - Peebles Pacific Development Corporation
A highly skilled development management executive with more than 17 years of diverse, hands-on experience in commercial real estate development projects, Daniel H. Grimm serves as President of Peebles Pacific Development Corporation. In this role, Mr. Grimm oversees all the development and construction activity in the western region of the United States.
Prior to his role with Peebles Pacific Development Corporation, Mr. Grimm oversaw all aspects of the construction of The Residences at The Bath Club, a $225 million beachfront condominium resort. The project included building a 20-story tower and six oceanfront single-family villas and combining it with a historic club & resort on 5.5 ocean-front acres in Miami Beach. In California, Grimm managed The Peebles Corporation underwriting, acquisition and entitlement of 250 Brannan Street, a historic office building located in San Francisco's SOMA district. He is also spearheading the company's Pacifica project which calls for a world class 87 acre ocean front mixed-use project to feature a five-star resort hotel, boutique retail and housing. In Las Vegas, he managed the underwriting, acquisition, entitlement and is overseeing the development of a 13 acre luxury resort project comprised of four 55 story modern towers, which will include 1,000 condominium units and an 800 room, five-star hotel tower with residential units above.
Mr. Grimm joined The Peebles Corporation in 2002 after completion of his duties with Donohoe Development Company as Development Director responsible for the design, permitting, construction and start-up of The Peebles Corporation's Royal Palm Crowne Plaza Resort in Miami Beach.
Mr. Grimm's background includes management of multiple and simultaneous projects and has direct experience and professional competence in the areas of planning, development and construction including mechanical systems, qualifying, selecting, retaining and managing consultants, design professionals and contractors, construction budgeting, labor and materials management, project scheduling prioritization, progress reporting and quality assurance.
Mr. Grimm is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic & State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, focused in Building Construction.
