
Barron Channer
Vice President, Development – Eastern US & Caribbean
Mr. Channer has been associated with The Peebles Corporation since 2002. In his role, Barron spearheads investment activity in the Eastern US and Caribbean through leadership of investment sourcing, analysis and negotiations. He further serves as a Project Executive overseeing financing, design and development considerations for individual projects.
Active in the South Florida and Caribbean community, Mr. Channer serves as a board member for Baptist-South Miami Hospital and Diaspora Vibe Gallery. He is a co-founder of CARIBIZ, an international non-profit promoting entrepreneurial development in the Caribbean. Additionally, he was a co-founder of the American Friends of Jamaica Black Tie-Gala in South Florida.
Mr. Channer received an MBA from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
